I tell the story of the day in pictures. I work unobtrusively around the Bride and Groom and Guests to capture images of the day as it unfolds. Formal pictures of the Wedding Party are taken as requested. I meet all couples before the Big Day at the Wedding or Reception venue so that I can scout the locations, see what is happening with the light (so that if necessary I can see where I can arrange lights to take pictures if the weather is inclement on the day) and to discuss their expectations and requirements. A combination of Formal and a more relaxed Photojournalistic approaches works well but each Wedding is different.

As well as capturing the Moments I make sure that the quality of the images is maintained as well as the mood and atmosphere by using the available light and/or combining it with Flash.
With the wonders of Digital photography I take all the images as RAW files and then have the best possible file to achieve the best possible results.
The more preparation and research that is done before a Wedding ensures a more confident and relaxed Bride and Groom. Who wants to look stressed in their pictures.
The photographer is one link in the team to make a Wedding successful. It’s very important to have the right Hair and Make-up artist. They will arrange a pre Wedding trial so that you see the “look” you can achieve on the Day. They will advise on how to maximise your best features and make sure that you look and feel fabulous. Don’t go to bed too late on the night before because faces need time to wake up in the morning. If you are having facials then arrange them a week in advance. Enough time to show the benefits.
